Bus Wrapping in Hull
Full Bus Wraps, Advertising Campaigns and Transport Operator Livery
MW Graphics designs, prints and installs bus wraps for advertising campaigns, tour vehicles and transport operator fleets. From our Burstwick workshop near Hull, we handle the full process, from scaled design proofs through large-format print to installation across the complex curves, panels and window lines of single and double-decker vehicles.

We work with advertising agencies and media buyers who need campaign vehicles delivered to brief and deadline, and directly with transport operators branding their own fleets.

High-Impact Advertising on the Move
A wrapped bus is one of the highest-impact out-of-home advertising formats available. It covers ground across urban and regional routes all day, reaching pedestrians, drivers and passengers in places static billboards can't. For a campaign, that's thousands of impressions per vehicle per day at a fraction of the cost-per-view of fixed media.
We produce full campaign wraps, tour vehicle liveries and promotional bus branding, designed to stay clear and legible whether the bus is viewed up close at a stop or from across a busy junction.
Bus Wrapping Options
Bus wrapping projects we handle include:
-
Full bus wraps covering the entire vehicle body, including complex rear and front sections
-
Partial wraps covering specific panels or sections for lower-budget campaigns
-
Rear and side panel advertising for high-visibility route exposure
-
Window graphics using perforated one-way vision film that keeps passenger visibility
-
Tour and event vehicle liveries for touring campaigns and roadshows
-
Transport operator fleet livery for coordinated, brand-consistent bus fleets
The right option depends on campaign objectives, budget and how long the wrap needs to stay on the vehicle. We advise on this at quote stage.
Designed for Size, Curves and Viewing Distance
Buses are among the most demanding vehicles to wrap. The scale is huge, the surfaces include deep curves, rivets, panel joins and window rubbers, and the design has to read clearly from a distance while still working up close.
Every bus wrap starts with a scaled design proof mapped to the specific vehicle, so you see exactly how the branding, messaging and imagery sit across the full body before we print. Getting the layout right at proof stage is what stops logos landing on window seals or key messaging disappearing around a curve.
Materials Built for Buses in Daily Service
Buses run long hours in all weather and get cleaned constantly, often through automated bus washes. The wrap has to survive that without lifting, fading or peeling at the edges.
We use cast vinyl and large-format print films from the four manufacturers we're certified with: 3M, Avery Dennison, Arlon and Oracal, finished with protective laminates that resist UV fade and repeated washing. As an Arlon Certified Fleet Installer, our installations on Arlon-supplied materials are warranted by Arlon directly. For window areas, we use perforated one-way vision film so passengers can still see out.

Precise Installation Across Large, Complex Surfaces
Wrapping a bus is a skilled installation job. Panel joins, curves, rivets and varying surface materials all have to be worked cleanly for the finished wrap to look seamless and last in service.
Our installation team preps each vehicle thoroughly, then applies the graphics section by section with careful alignment across panel lines, so the finished wrap reads as one continuous design. Larger jobs and multi-vehicle campaigns can be scheduled around your operational availability.

Bus Wrapping FAQs
A quality cast vinyl bus wrap with a protective laminate typically lasts several years in daily service, depending on the material grade, how the vehicle is cleaned and how much UV exposure it gets. For shorter promotional campaigns, we can specify materials suited to the campaign length. We advise on expected life at quote stage.
Yes. Cast vinyl is fully removable and lifts cleanly from sound paintwork when fitted and removed correctly. This makes bus wrapping ideal for time-limited advertising campaigns, after which the wrap can be removed and the vehicle returned to its previous state or rewrapped for the next campaign.
No. We use perforated one-way vision film on window areas. From outside, the graphic appears solid, while passengers inside can still see out clearly. It's the standard approach for bus advertising that covers window areas.
Both work. Our in-house design team can develop the full bus wrap design, or we can work from artwork supplied by your agency or marketing team. Either way, we produce a scaled proof mapped to the specific vehicle before printing so you can approve exactly how it looks.
We use cast vinyl and large-format films from 3M, Avery Dennison, Arlon and Oracal, finished with protective laminates for UV and wash resistance. As an Arlon Certified Fleet Installer, our installations on Arlon-supplied materials are warranted by Arlon directly.
Yes. We handle single campaign vehicles and full transport operator fleets. For fleet work, we keep branding consistent across every vehicle and can schedule installs around your operational availability to minimise vehicles off the road.
